American contemporary artist Tyrrell Winston and vintage purveyor Akimbo Club are set to drop their latest collaboration, the ‘NY Noodle’ series, just in time for Black Friday. This exclusive release follows a string of sold-out collections that seamlessly blend streetwear with iconic sports references.
The collection’s focal point is the coveted reimagined ‘Yankee Noodle’ Zip-Up Hoodie in a ‘Faded Navy’ colorway. Crafted in Los Angeles from 450 GSM brushed cotton, this hoodie highlights Winston’s unique hand-drawn interpretation of the iconic New York Yankees’ logo on a distinctive and washed finish. It features a boxy fit, ribbing, kangaroo pocket, and zipper closure.
Expanding on the success of the previous release, the collection also introduces new additions, including a hooded sweatshirt and a Pinstripe Knit Sweater inspired by Major League Baseball team apparel. A standout piece is the NY Noodle Akimbo Work Jacket, which pays homage to the classic Carhartt style that also has Winston’s hand-drawn Yankees’ logo.
