H. Moser & Cie. has once again captured the essence of watchmaking excellence with its latest creation, the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton. Revealed at Watches & Wonders Geneva 2024, this exclusive timepiece exemplifies the brand’s dedication to symmetry, minimalist design, and unparalleled watchmaking expertise.
This new addition to the H. Moser & Cie. family follows the footsteps of its predecessor, the Pioneer Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton, introduced in 2022. Building upon the success of the Streamliner collection, which debuted the same year, this new Tourbillon Skeleton embodies the brand’s commitment to innovation and craftsmanship.
At the heart of the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton lies a one-minute flying tourbillon, positioned at 6 o’clock, seemingly suspended in mid-air by an integrated double hairspring. Eschewing the traditional colored dial, this timepiece proudly showcases its technical prowess with a skeletonized watch face adorned with red gold-plated indices and hands featuring ceramic-based Globolight inserts for enhanced readability in any light condition.
Crafted from stainless steel, the 40mm cushion-shaped case boasts a unique lugless design. And features a beveled sapphire crystal, a screwed sapphire caseback, a screw-down crown, and 120 meters of water resistance. The watch has an integrated steel bracelet with a folding clasp with three blades and comes with half-links available for a more precise fit.
The H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton runs on the fully skeletonized HMC 814 self-winding Manufacture movement, visible through the transparent caseback. This caliber operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour and comprises 167 components, 28 jewels, an oscillating weight in 18k red gold, and a minimum power reserve of 72 hours.
The H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton, priced at $86,900, is now part of the permanent collection and is available through the official H. Moser & Cie. website and boutiques.
