Rolex Unveils Stainless Steel GMT-Master II 126710GRNR Inspired By 1675 GMT-Master

Rolex has once again captivated the watch community with its latest offering at Watches & Wonders Geneva 2024: the Rolex GMT-Master II 126710GRNR. This timepiece is a testament to the enduring legacy of the GMT-Master series, which has always been about precision engineering and timeless design. The inspiration for the Rolex GMT-Master II 126710GRNR can be traced back to the iconic ref. 1675 GMT-Master, a watch that has left an indelible mark on the world of horology. For many, the GMT-Master is a symbol of adventure and exploration, evoking memories of globetrotting journeys and far-flung destinations.

The Rolex GMT-Master II 126710GRNR stands out with its striking stainless steel construction. Its 40mm Oystersteel case is home to a unique split-color bidirectional rotatable 24-hour graduated bezel featuring a black and gray Cerachrom bezel insert. The vibrant green GMT hand and dial text add a touch of personality. It’s also equipped with a screw-down winding crown, a triplock triple waterproofness system, and can withstand water pressure up to 100 meters.

At the heart of the GMT-Master II 126710GRNR beats the Caliber 3285. The self-winding movement boasts a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. It has its patented Chronergy escapement, blue Parachrom hairspring, central hour, minute, and seconds hands functions, 24-hour display, second time zone with independent rapid-setting of the hour hand, instantaneous date function, and stop-seconds function for precise time setting.

The Rolex GMT-Master II 126710GRNR to their collection will be pleased to know that it is available with either the iconic Oyster or Jubilee bracelets, priced at $10,700 USD with the Oyster bracelet and $10,900 USD with the Jubilee bracelet.
