In a grand unveiling ahead of the 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars introduced the world to its latest examples of automotive craftsmanship: the ‘Spirit of Expression’ Bespoke commissions. These creations, comprising the Ghost Extended, Phantom Extended, and Spectre models, are not just vehicles; they are personalized works of art tailored to the tastes and desires of Rolls-Royce’s discerning clientele.
Drawing inspiration from the exquisite flora and breathtaking landscapes of destinations beloved by its Chinese patrons, Rolls-Royce has infused each ‘Spirit of Expression’ commission with a unique theme. From the vibrant hues of the Lantana flower in South America to the serene sunsets of Boracay Island, these bespoke vehicles encapsulate the essence of luxury travel and cultural appreciation.
The Phantom Extended ‘Magnetism’ features a striking dual-tone exterior, with a combination of Cala Luna Sand and Kabira Blue paint finishes. This color scheme evokes the ambiance of a moonlit beach and the profound intensity of a sea horizon, creating a captivating presence on the road. The interior boasts sumptuous leather upholstery, handcrafted wood veneers, and exquisite detailing throughout. The celestial-themed Starlight Headliner, adorned with hundreds of hand-placed ‘stars’ and ‘shooting stars,’ adds to the ambiance.
Meanwhile, the Spectre ‘Escapism’ captivates with its bold and vibrant exterior. Painted in a striking Lantana Red, inspired by the vivid hues of the Lantana Flower, and complemented by a Tempest Grey finish, this bespoke creation evokes a sense of tropical allure and adventure. The 23-inch seven-spoke wheels, with their Lantana Red centers, further accentuate the vehicle’s exotic aesthetic. The interior features a lavish combination of Selby Grey, Purple Silk, and Sunset leathers, evoking the warmth and vibrancy of tropical landscapes. The Starlight Headliner here comes with hundreds of fiber-optic ‘stars’ and ‘shooting stars’ in Sunset and White hues.
At first glance, the Ghost Extended ‘Expressionism’ commands attention with its striking Boracay Blue exterior finish. Inspired by the vibrant sunsets over Boracay Island, this bespoke color captures the essence of tropical beauty and exotic allure. The Lime Green Coach Line adds a touch of contrast, paying homage to the rich flora and fauna of the island paradise. The interior features a combination of Black and Arctic White leather upholstery, accented with Lime Green details for a vibrant and contemporary aesthetic. The Starlight Headliner on this model is adorned with hundreds of fiber-optic ‘stars’ and ‘shooting stars’ in Lime Green and White.
For those fortunate enough to experience the ‘Spirit of Expression’ firsthand, these bespoke creations will be on display at the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing until May 4, as part of the 2024 Beijing Motor Show. As for pricing, Rolls-Royce has remained tight-lipped, but one thing’s for certain: luxury of this caliber doesn’t come cheap.
