Girard-Perregaux 42mm Laureato References In Pink Gold Debuts In Three Variants

Girard-Perregaux has recently dropped three new pink gold timepieces in its celebrated Laureato collection. These new Girard-Perregaux Laureato 42mm Pink Gold watches join the permanent collection and come in Sage Green and Ultramarine Blue dial options.

Launched in 1975, the Girard-Perregaux Laureato was one of the pioneering models in the luxury sports watch category. Originally featuring a quartz movement, it was integrated with mechanical movements by 1984, solidifying Laureato’s status as a staple in the brand’s lineup. The iconic design, characterized by its octagonal bezel set over a circular plinth and an integrated bracelet, has seen numerous iterations. The latest one in 2024 looks back at this heritage with refined updates.

The new Laureato 42mm Pink Gold models are distinguished by the Sage Green and Ultramarine Blue dial colors, both featuring the signature Clous de Paris pattern. Encased in 42mm 18k pink gold, these watches boast an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and sapphire back, a gold-plated GP logo, gold-plated indexes and hands with luminescent material, a tone-on-tone date disc, and water resistance up to 50 meters.

Both the green and blue variants come with a brushed and polished 18k pink gold integrated bracelet with a folding clasp, while the blue model is also available with a blue alligator with a pink gold triple-folding buckle.

The Girard-Perregaux Laureato 42mm Pink Gold watches run on the in-house caliber GP01800. This automatic movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz). The transparent sapphire caseback allows a view of the movement that features a pink gold oscillating weight, circular graining, beveled bridges with Geneva stripes, and circular stripes on the rotor. It also features 28 jewels, 191 components, and a power reserve of 54 hours.

The Girard-Perregaux Laureato 42mm Pink Gold watches are available now through authorized retailers and the brand’s boutiques. The pricing ranges from $35,400 for the leather strap version to $51,900 for the pink gold bracelet version. For more information, please visit the Girard-Perregaux website.
