At The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, Rimac Automobili debuted the Nevera R, its newest edition to the Nevera family. The Nevera R is a hyper sportscar engineered for superior cornering performance, which enables a more thrilling and aggressive driving experience, following Rimac’s rebellious and relentless philosophy.
Next-generation Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring (R-AWTV) and advanced EVO2 brakes enable its tighter cornering abilities. It is also fitted with a 108kWh performance-oriented battery system with 2,107 hp available, allowing it to accelerate faster than the record-breaking Nevera, reaching 300 km/h (186 mph) in just 8.66s. The R-AWTV capabilities are improved by the revised traction control system, ensuring stability even in wet conditions.
Its design features clean surfaces and perfect proportions, highlighted by its lower, sleeker profile. It is launched in Nebula Green and offers an ultra-customizable interior. Its 21-inch rear wheels and 20-inch front wheels with extended spokes accentuate the aggressive, forward-thrusting stance. The front end features horizontal lines that enhance the car’s striking, aerodynamic profile, achieved by blending sensual surfacing with precise graphics into the front clam.
The side view enhances the Nevera R’s dynamic look by blending carbon fiber with body color. A large fixed rear wing, paired with an advanced aero package, boosts downforce by 15% and improves aerodynamic efficiency by 10%. The new Michelin Cup 2 tires reduce the total understeer by 10% and increase lateral grip by 5%, which adds to its improved cornering performance. Every element of the car contributes to its superior agility and handling abilities.
The all-electric hypercar was designed as a Grand Tourer, delivering exceptional performance while also being spacious and comfortable. It leads a new generation of automotive performance with its advanced technology, enhanced cornering ability, and more focused driving dynamics. Only 40 units of the Nevera R will be produced and available worldwide at a starting price of 2.3 million EUR. For more details, visit the Rimac website.
