The 1916 Company announced the Icons of Time World Tour to celebrate the renowned collections of F.P. Journe and De Bethune. Later this fall, the four-city pan-Asian exhibition will showcase horological excellence in Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, and Hong Kong.
The 1916 Company’s exhibition, GENERATIONS: A Timeline of F.P. Journe, will take several exquisite timepieces from the group’s New York F.P. Journe Gallery to Beijing, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. These include a ‘pre-souscription’ Chronomètre à Résonance, a Ruthenium set, a 30th Anniversary Tourbillon T30, and several more notable pieces of F.P. Journe’s Boutique Edition, Black Label, and Limited Series. All the watches will be on display and available for purchase.
De Bethune’s latest 2024 novelties, including the DB28xs Steel Wheels and DB28xs Aérolite, will be displayed during the tour in Shanghai, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. These watches stand out with their blued Muonionalusta meteorite dial with random guilloché decoration and are a must-see for their groundbreaking design. Moreover, the Heritage Collection, comprising 13 historical watches, will be presented in Shanghai and Hong Kong. These pieces, which are no longer in production, offer a rare opportunity to experience De Bethune’s traditional craftsmanship and engineering.
This exceptional tour will commence on September 24th in Beijing and continue to the other cities later this fall. The walk-in experience is open to all, allowing collectors, enthusiasts, and journalists to view and enjoy the collections. For more details, visit The 1916 Company’s website.
