Apple has expanded its AirPods lineup by unveiling the new AirPods 4, AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), and AirPods Max in new colors. The lineup also includes introducing the world’s first all-in-one hearing health experience with the AirPods Pro 2.
Apple AirPods are known for their amazing features, such as incredible sound quality, long battery life, wireless convenience, and iconic design. The new AirPods 4 takes these features to the next level by offering users an even better experience. These are the best headphones created by Apple, featuring a brand-new open-ear design built using advanced modeling tools to produce a shape that naturally fits every user.
The headphone includes a significant improvement in sound quality, featuring all-new acoustic architecture, a high dynamic range amplifier, and a low-distortion driver. Moreover, personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking can be added for an even greater immersive experience. The AirPods 4 is also equipped with the H2 chip. It enables Voice isolation for clearer call quality and Siri interactions in which users can move their heads to respond to Siri announcements. A new force sensor is added to control media, calling for even more control.
Apple also introduced ANC to an open-ear design for the first time. The AirPods 4 with ANC features upgraded microphones, an H2 chip, and advanced computational audio, which reduces environmental noise. Moving on to the other new features in the lineup, the AirPods Max now comes in five new colors: midnight, starlight, blue, orange, and purple. They also feature USB-C charging capabilities for more convenience.
Apple introduced the world’s first end-to-end hearing health experience with the AirPods Pro 2, which is focused on prevention, assistance, and awareness of hearing loss. The AirPods are equipped with Hearing Protection features, which provide passive noise reduction and reduce loud noise in regular environments and even at concerts. The AirPods Pro 2 also includes a scientifically validated Hearing Test, allowing users to check their hearing from their homes. Hearing assistance is delivered with a new feature that transforms the AirPods Pro into a clinical-grade hearing aid for users with mild to moderate hearing loss.
The AirPods 4 is priced at $129, and the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation is priced at $179. Both can be pre-ordered on the Apple website and app, and they will be available beginning on September 20th. The new AirPods Max can also be pre-ordered for $549 from the Apple website and Apple Store app, and they will be available beginning September 20th. The latest hearing health feature will be available in a free software update for AirPods Pro 2 customers. The AirPods Pro 2 are priced at $249 and can be purchased from Apple’s website.
