Automobili Pininfarina’s New Special-Edition Battista Pays Tribute To The Brand’s Roots

Automobili Pininfarina unveiled the special edition Battista hyper GT at the end of this year’s Monterey Car Week. The vehicle, called ‘A Piece of Cambiano in California,’ pays tribute to Automobili Pininfarina’s roots in Cambiano, Italy, where each car is crafted.

Cambiano’s influence is subtly seen in the bespoke Battista’s design, where the underside of the active rear wing features a map of the Cambiano region and a schematic of the Battista production line. This design is mirrored on the door plates, which have engravings of ‘Where Everything Starts’ and ‘Fatto Con Amore in Italia’ (Made with Love in Italy), further connecting the vehicle to the region.

The interior features an exclusive monochrome ‘dogtooth’ design inspired by the B95 Barchetta show car, enhancing its exclusivity. The Battista also offers personalization options available through Automobili Pininfarina’s bespoke program. A unique 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) ending in 020, a reference to the Cambiano postal district, allows owners to add a personal touch to the car’s identity.
