As the official sponsor of the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team, Panerai has released its latest timepiece, the Submersible QuarantaQuattro Luna Rossa, just in time for the 37th America’s Cup. The timepiece, made in honor of the prestigious sailing competition, highlights Panerai’s maritime heritage and innovative craftsmanship.
Crafted from brushed AISI 316L stainless steel, the watch features the brand’s signature 44mm case. Its dial has a silver base with a radial sun-brushed finish inspired by the boat’s reflective hull, which blends with the luminous hour markers and skeleton handset. The rotating bezel, featuring a polished, black ceramic disc provides a striking contrast.
Panerai’s renowned crown-protecting mechanism is fitted into the PAM01681, a faithful rendition of the Submersible. This watch runs on the reliable automatic P.900 movement, offering a solid three-day power reserve. It’s also water-resistant up to 300 meters.
The watch incorporates the team’s black and red colors. The strap includes a bold red stripe that runs down the bottom strap’s center. Moreover, the caseback also references the team where an engraved depiction of the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli boat is present.
The Submersible QuarantaQuattro Luna Rossa PAM01681 is priced at $12,100 USD (excluding tax) and is available for inquiries through Panerai. For more information, visit the Panerai website.
