Jordan Brand is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 8 next year by re-releasing it in one of its most beloved and iconic colorways.
The White/Black-True-Red colorway, nicknamed ‘Bugs Bunny,’ will be coming back after its original 1993 release when Michael Jordan first wore it on court. The shoe got its nickname from the Looney Tunes character, which famously appeared alongside Michael Jordan in the ‘Hare Jordan’ campaign.
In 2003, the iconic sneakers arrived in stores, allowing customers and Jordan fans to acquire the much sought-after sneakers. In 2013, it was re-released once again, and a new version will arrive in Fall 2025.
The sneakers feature a white leather upper with bold red and black accents. The signature midfoot straps and chenille tongue patch add to its distinctive look. Interested buyers still have a long wait to get their hands on these historic shoes, which are scheduled to be released in Fall 2025 for $210 on the Nike website.
