Louis Vuitton debuted a temporary destination in New York City as its 5th Avenue flagship undergoes a multi-year renovation. The unique space offers an immersive experience across five floors, which includes a café, chocolate shop, and an exclusive collection of keepsakes.
Upon entry, visitors are greeted by a 16-meter installation of iconic trunks that blend the brand’s heritage with New York City’s skyline. Shohei Shigematsu of the OMA architectural firm designed the installation.
The destination’s exclusive capsule collection, which includes men’s and women’s ready-to-wear and leather goods, is also inspired by New York City. Popular accessories, such as the Neverfull Inside Out, Speedy Soft bags, and Vivienne figurines, are also part of the collection.
On the fourth floor, Le Café Louis Vuitton introduces the brand’s first library café in the US. Visitors can enjoy curated books alongside a menu created by chefs Arnaud Donckele, Maxime Frédéric, Christophe Bellanca, Mary George, and local talent.
The destination also includes Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric, bringing the brand’s renowned Parisian chocolate boutique to the US for the first time after successful openings in other major cities. This exquisite chocolate experience offers LV-branded chocolates packaged beautifully in signature boxes.
Louis Vuitton 57th Street NYC is open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more details, visit the brand’s website.
