New Balance Unveils Moon-Inspired 1906R For Lunar New Year

New Balance is preparing to celebrate the Lunar New Year with a striking moon-inspired colorway of the 1906R. This new release follows the subtle design of the New Balance 1000 ‘Lunar New Year.’

New Balance embraces an evergreen aesthetic for the sneaker. It steers away from highlighting the Chinese Zodiac animal, resulting in a clean and versatile shoe with a lighter color palette for the holiday. It includes a gradient greyscale colorway from dark grey at the heel to lighter tones at the toe. The shoe also features reflective accents that enhance the lighter shades.

The shoe, which costs $155, will be available on the New Balance website in Spring 2025.
