Parmigiani Fleurier Unveils The Tonda PF Xiali In Rose Gold For Chinese New Year

Parmigiani Fleurier is celebrating the upcoming Chinese New Year by releasing a rose gold version of the Tonda PF Xiali Perpetual Calendar. This latest release follows the triumph of its steel counterpart. The design encapsulates the complete Chinese calendar, paying homage to horological mastery and Chinese culture.

The 42mm 18ct rose gold case radiates sophistication, while the imperial red skeleton dial enhances its regal presence. The dial features an outer ring engraved with 24 solar terms, surrounding four sub-dials. At 12 o’clock, the year’s name, its corresponding zodiac animal, and the natural element are displayed. The sub-dial at 3 o’clock displays the day number, along with whether the current month is long or short. Over at 9 o’clock, another sub-dial tracks the intercalary months. The moon phase indicator at 6 o’clock adds a final touch of elegance and functionality.

The PF008 movement powers the watch, incorporating 42 jewels, 353 components, Côtes de Genève decoration, and beveled bridges. The oscillating weight is crafted from 22ct rose gold, beautifully skeletonized, polished, and sandblasted to reflect its sophistication and elegance. The timepiece is completed with an 18ct rose gold bracelet with a folding clasp.

The release of the Tonda PF Xiali in rose gold displays Parmigiani Fleurier’s dedication to preserving tradition while pushing the boundaries of watchmaking. It is set to launch on January 29th. For more details, visit the brand’s website.
