LEGO’s Tyrannosaurus Rex Set Is Its Largest ‘Jurassic World’ Set To Date

LEGO and Universal Products and Experiences have introduced their latest Jurassic World set, the LEGO Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus Rex. With 3,145 pieces, it stands as the largest LEGO Jurassic World set ever created, spanning over one meter (more than three feet) in length.

This build replicates a T.Rex fossil skeleton, complete with a movable head, an opening jaw, articulated joints, and a posable tail and arms. It comes with a display stand, an information plaque, and hidden franchise Easter eggs, including an amber-colored LEGO piece as a tribute to Jurassic Park.

The set also includes LEGO Minifigures of Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Alan Grant to add to the nostalgia of the 1993 film. A coffee-table-style instruction book adds depth to the experience, featuring behind-the-scenes design details, Jurassic Park highlights, and T. Rex facts. Builders can also use the LEGO Builder app to track progress, zoom, and rotate models in 3D.

The LEGO Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus Rex set launches on March 12th for LEGO Insiders, with a general release set for March 15th. Each set is priced at $250 and available on the brand’s website.
