Nanushka, the Budapest-based designer label, has joined forces with ASICS to reimagine the GEL-KINETIC FLUENT with playful elements and striking contrasts. The collaborative model is released in two versatile colorways: a black version with white stitching and amber heel cushions and a tan variant with black and silver details.
While many ASICS collaborations focus on color and material updates, Nanushka’s take introduces more structural changes, pushing the design further. A key update to the silhouette is the addition of a neoprene liner sock, complete with a retro Nanushka tag at the tongue. The model also boasts a hybrid bungee lacing system instead of traditional laces to elevate its technical look.
This release marks Nanushka’s first sneaker collaboration and celebrates its 20th anniversary. The collaboration also contributes to ASICS’ mental health awareness initiative Crafts for Mind, by supporting Mind Over Mountains, a charity that promotes mental health through nature.
The Nanushka x ASICS GEL-KINETIC FLUENT embodies both brands’ shared emphasis on movement and design integrity. It is priced at €270 (approximately $292 USD), available at the Nanushka website and flagship locations in London and New York, and Dover Street Market London.
