Richard Mille and Ferrari have unveiled their latest horological innovation, the RM 43-01 Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph Ferrari. This timepiece redefines chronometer capabilities and pays tribute to Maranello’s racing DNA.
Developed over three years, the RM 43-01 integrates two of watchmaking’s most complex complications: the tourbillon and the split-seconds chronograph. It features titanium and Carbon TPT (Thin Ply Technology), making it incredibly lightweight and durable.
Ferrari Centro Stile played a significant role in the timepiece’s design, shaping details such as the crown, the hands, and the strap, which features the pattern of the Purosangue seats. The watch’s industrial baseplate reflects sandcast engine components, while microblasted bridges resemble the matte surface of Ferrari engine covers. Angular structures, ridges, and golden hexagonal socket-head screws reinforce the automotive design influence.
The RM 43-01 Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph Ferrari is a ‘racing machine on the wrist’ with every component engineered for precision. It embodies the two marques’ shared values of performance, perfection, and passion. Only 150 examples (75 in microblasted titanium and 75 in Carbon TPT) of this remarkable timepiece are produced.
