New Balance’s 991v2 has been the canvas for several high-profile collaborations since its debut, including projects with Stone Island and other renowned designers. Now, Salahe Bembury adds his signature aesthetic to the silhouette with the ‘Colors Be The Palette’ edition.
The vibrant pair features a mixed-material purple upper with rough suede overlays and orange, gold, blue, and green accents. The midsole is two-toned, transitioning from purple at the forefoot to beige and rose red at the ABZORB branding. The design also features co-branded details on the tongue and packaging.
After months of anticipation, the Salehe Bembury x New Balance 991v2 is finally set to release. It will launch on March 13th at 12 p.m. EST via BeASpunge and will be released globally through the New Balance website within a week or so. While the official price has not been confirmed, it is expected to retail for $250.
