Volvo has teased the ES90, a fully electric luxury sedan built on the brand’s Superst tech stack. Following the EX90, it is the second model built on the SPA2 platform. This advanced technology enables the vehicle to evolve continuously, delivering advanced performance, safety, battery efficiency, and connectivity through cutting-edge software integration.
The ES90 is powered by a dual NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin core computing system, making it the most powerful model the brand offers in terms of computational power. With 508 trillion operations per second, it utilizes efficient battery management, AI-driven safety features, and real-time sensor interaction to refine the driving experience. This system enables Volvo to scale its deep learning models from 40 million to 200 million parameters over time, ensuring ongoing advancements in safety and performance.
Advanced safety is provided by innovative Safe Space Technology, which includes a comprehensive range of sensors alongside an advanced driver-understanding system. These features detect obstacles even in low visibility and implement proactive safety measures.
The ES90 will be officially revealed on March 5th. For more details, visit the brand’s website.
