Parmigiani Fleurier Unveils The World’s First Fully Cermet Timepiece

Parmigiani Fleurier presents the Tonda PF Sport Chronograph Ultra-Cermet, the first timepiece made from the innovative Cermet material that took three years to develop. This composite material merges the scratch-resistant and high-temperature-resistant properties of ceramic with the lightness of metal.

Cermet is widely used in aerospace and high-tech industries for its lightweight, strength, and resistance to extreme conditions. Its use in the Tondo PF Sport makes it highly durable and cool to the touch, offering an added sensory dimension. The watch is also visually striking because of its fine structure and satin-polished anthracite case that allows it to reflect light uniquely.

The case, crown, pushers, pin buckle, and fluted bezel are all made of Cermet, while the dial is treated in Blakor. This 9-carat gold-nickel deposit sports a grey-black hue that complements the case’s refined metallic finish.

The high-frequency, COSC-certified PF070 movement is powering the timepiece at 36,000 vph. It offers precise timekeeping with an integrated chronograph and automatic winding.

The Tonda PF Sport Chronograph Ultra-Cermet is offered in Milano Blue and London Grey, each priced at $43,100. Both versions are built for discerning watch enthusiasts who appreciate bold style and cutting-edge innovation. For more information, visit the brand’s website.
