Rolls-Royce Unveils Bespoke Phantom Cherry Blossom

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars unveils the Phantom Cherry Blossom, a one-of-a-kind Phantom Extended commissioned by a Japanese client. Inspired by the fleeting beauty of cherry blossoms and the tradition of Hanami, the vehicle was created to honor personal memories and pass them down to future generations.

The Bespoke vehicle reflects the brand’s highest level of customization and artistry while embodying the owner’s individuality and vision. Inside, intricate embroidery of a cherry blossom design spans the Starlight Headliner, rear door panels, and the Privacy Suite partition. This embroidery took over six months to complete and uses an offset tatami stitch inspired by ancient Japanese weaving techniques, creating depth and fluidity in the design.

This commission marks the first time the luxury manufacturer has incorporated three-dimensional embroidery into a vehicle interior. Each petal is shaped by hand and stitched in place to enhance the interplay of light and shadows. The doors feature Bespoke umbrellas with a falling petal pattern, which continues the hanami theme.

The exterior features a Crystal over Arctic White finish, paired with a hand-painted Coachline that tapers at the rear passenger door with an elegant cherry blossom motif.
