Tudor has introduced a bold motosport-inspired timepiece, the limited edition Black Bay Chrono ‘Carbon 25,’ for the Miami Grand Prix. This exclusive model is a carbon-cased version of its flagship Black Bay chronograph and features the VCARB F1 team’s colors along with a reshaped case and a redesigned bezel.
The Tudor Black Bay Chrono ‘Carbon 25’ debuts a 42mm wide case, which is 1 mm wider than its steel counterpart. At 14.5mm thick, this version is also a tenth of a millimeter slimmer than the original model. The carbon fiber case is paired with black PVD titanium pushers and a unique engraved single-piece tachymeter bezel. The caseback is also made of black PVD titanium, which is engraved with the 2025 VCARB F1 car.
The dial of the Black Bay Chrono ‘Carbon 25’ showcases a lightly grained matte ‘racing white’ surface framed by a bold VCARB blue chapter ring with a checkered flag chronograph seconds scale. The same vivid blue color appears on the dial’s text. Raw carbon fiber subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock tie into the case material, while red accents on the chronograph seconds hand and depth rating complete the high-contrast racing colorway.
Inside, the Carbon 25 is powered by the Kenissi-made MT5813 automatic chronograph movement. It is a COSC-certified high-performance modern chronograph platform, featuring a column wheel, vertical clutch, a silicon balance spring, bidirectional winding, a variable inertia balance, and a 70-hour power reserve.
Completing the watch is a rubber-lined black leather strap with endlinks in case-matching carbon fiber. The leather strap is embossed with a tire tread pattern and finished with VCARB blue stitching and a carbon fiber pin buckle.
The Tudor Black Bay Chrono ‘Carbon 25’ is limited to 2,025 pieces and is available now through authorized dealers for $7,575. For more details, visit the brand’s website.
