Shohei Ohtani is bringing his signature style to the New Balance 990v6, his first lifestyle sneaker project. The sneakers will be released next week, following the release of his latest signature apparel collection with the sportswear brand.
Ohtani’s version of the 990v6 features a clean off-white mudguard paired with a navy base and forest green overlays. Silver and gray ‘N’ logos at the midfoot add contrast, while the chunky sole unit transitions from off-white at the forefoot to green and gray at the heel. A black rubber outsole completes the shoe’s exterior. Inside, a co-branded sock liner with Ohtani’s graphic gives a nod to the MLB star.
The Shohei Ohtani x New Balance 990v6 will be released exclusively in Japan via New Balance on March 17th. Pricing is yet to be unveiled.
