URWERK has unveiled the UR-101 T-Rex, marking the latest addition to the T-REX lineage. The bold timepiece features an exposed case with an organic guilloché pattern, which forges a primal bond with its wearer.
Crafted from bronze, the case features a textured, scale-like surface that extends across the bezel, lugs, and sides. The dynamic finish of the case is created through an oxidation and brushing process, which allows it to deepen in color over time while resisting green tarnishing.
Drawing ergonomic inspiration from the Millennium Falcon, the timepiece curves to fit the wrist while its asymmetrical case design adds a distinct visual tilt. A crown puller, reminiscent of the original UR-101, enhances its functionality. The timepiece is equipped with the UR-1.01V caliber which powers URWERK’s iconic wandering hours display.
Limited to 100 examples, the timepiece is priced at $45,000 and available through URWERK.
