Porsche has unveiled a limited-edition cabriolet, the 911 Spirit 70, at the Shanghai Auto Show. This exclusive model celebrates the brand’s heritage with design cues from the 1970s and early ‘80s.
The 911 Spirit 70 is based on the 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet, featuring a hybrid-assisted 3.6L boxer engine, which produces 541 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque. The exterior has a unique Olive Neo paint finish with Bronzite accents and a soft black top. The Spirit 70 adds retro touches with a 1963-style Porsche crest, black silk-gloss racing stripes, and gold-plated badging.
The interior pays homage to classic Porsche design with a refreshed black-and-olive Pasha pattern paired with club leather in basalt black and accented by contrast stitching. A fully digital instrument cluster replicates classic analog dials with green numerals and white needles. The model also includes a matching chronograph and lifestyle collection.
Customers can personalize their car through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and configure their dream build via a dedicated app for Apple Vision Pro.
The 911 Spirit 70 is Porsche’s third Heritage Design model, which blends vintage-inspired aesthetics with modern performance. Only 1,500 units are produced, with deliveries scheduled in Europe in April 2025, followed by a global release. For more details, visit the brand’s website.
