NY-based menswear label Rochambeau presented their Fall/Winter 2016 collection at New York Fashion Week Men’s, giving us a lineup of 90’s-inspired looks. The show itself had a real old-school vibe as well. Pre-show, the lighting was dimmed with strobes flashing throughout. You had a battle taking place between two New York’s finest DJs — Jus Ke and Chase B, turning the show into more of an underground party than a runway show. Rochambeau designers Laurence Chandler and Joshua Cooper looked at Juice, a classic film that starred Tupac Shakur. So as you’ll see, slim cuts are replaced with more relaxed silhouettes and pops of color like orange, mustard, and brown. And with pieces like a military inspired poncho, raglan jumper, dungarees and bungee pants, this is also a collection that’s very much New York. Check out the looks below and expect Rochambeau’s Fall/Winter 2016 collection to hit select outlets early fall.
