Sony unveils strap-on for PS3 controllers

Get your head out of the gutter.  At its Leipzig Games Convention press conference, Sony pulled out a wireless keypad for the PS3 that fits so snug on top of your Sixaxis or Dualshock3 controller.  It’s a neat little device.  It’s kitted with the PS button, a select and start button because it covers those 3 buttons up when it’s attached. 

American Airlines’ Gogo internet service goes live, bloggers rejoice

For the past few years, there has been much speculation into whether the internet would or should be accessed in airplanes.  Now, the speculation is over and so are the trial runs.

American Airlines’ new inflight broadband service goes live starting today.  For $12.95, passengers on AA flights using its Boeing 767-200 will be able to go online, check e-mail, instant message and access corporate VPN accounts using the system by Aircell LLC.

Android 0.9, roadmap released by Google

Yes! This is the information that every iPhone hater’s been waiting for.  Yesterday, Google released the 0.9 beta version of Android to developers.  This version is said to have close-resemblance to the real deal non-beta version coming in the next few months.  November seems to be the month of interest right now, but the first GPhone may not come with Exchange.

French website iPhone.fr has unveiled what it claims are iPhone screenshots of some new software that shows the system working in tandem with Google Maps over GPS, as well as displaying the much coveted ability to display running goals and targets over the air.
