What to watch: RocknRolla on October 31st

Out October 31st, the new action flick by Guy Ritchie is worthy of our $9.50 this weekend. RocknRolla is about sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll and stars Gerard Butler, Tom Wilkinson, Thandie Newton, Mark Strong, and Idris Elba.

The film takes a dangerous ride into high crime and low life in contemporary London, where real estate has supplanted drugs as the biggest market, and criminals are its most enthusiastic entrepreneurs. With millions up for grabs, all of London’s criminal underworld conspires, colludes and collides with one another in an effort to take their cut. But as high rollers and petty criminals alike jockey for dominance, the true prize of one multi-million-dollar deal will fall into the hands of a junkie rock star, presumed dead but very much alive.

A whole lot of stuff happens and the movie ends (so we’re guessing).  I’ll be grabbing a date and some popcorn on Friday and seeing what it’s all about.

The Campaign: “Same Day, Same Story” for Converse Dwayne Wade 4

The “Same Day, Same Story” commercial featuring Dwayne for his signature shoe by Converse puts all the doubts to rest and shows us what’s going through Wade’s mind come gametime.

Crib has hidden garage filled with Lamborghinis

Amazing what money can buy these days.  We’re not talking about the exotic cars in the video.  As much as we love to see a bunch of Lamborghinis in such close proximity, we have to say that having a raising garage is something else.  “Hey look, I have two Lamborghini Countachs! Wait, just kidding, I have two Diablos, too! Oh, you didn’t see my Ferrari?  Look closer!”

Kudos to the ridiculously rich bloke with this.  We’re more impressed with the car collection than the hidden garage.

Blu-ray releases: Week of October 27th

Honestly, we didn’t want to even tell you what was coming out this week on Blu-ray because it’s that horrible.  I mean, what guy wants a copy of Tinker Bell on Blu-ray?  You better have a good reason.  This week’s pretty dry, but we still have to show you, but don’t think we’re happy about it.  Check the list after the jump.
