Rogues Gallery Autumn/Winter 2010 Looks

Rogues Gallery Autumn/Winter 2010 Looks

Selectism turns us to looks from Rogues Gallery‘s A/W 2010 collection, courtesy of PTLDME. “Our local favorites remain focused on developing goods for the everyman who cares to look good without moving too forward into the depths of fashion. With that said, you’ll find solid pieces from jackets to trousers.” Aaron Levin was brought on as Creative Director after a good while at Hickey and this happens to be his first complete collection that he can call his own. From what we’ve seen so far, expect to be impressed. It’s consistent, wearable and masculine at all times.

And the model, if anyone’s wondering, is Sean Sullivan of The Impossible Cool.

Dunhill Autumn/Winter 2010 Installation by Campaign

Dunhill Autumn/Winter 2010 Installation by Campaign

British label Dunhill recently teamed up with London based studio Campaign to make full use of one of the Meatpacking District’s last remaining disused warehouse spaces during New York Fashion Week. “Recreating, in a beautifully ghostly manner, Bourdon House – the London home of Alfred Dunhill – Campaign’s unique installation played host to dunhill’s Autumn/Winter 2010 collection in a fascinatingly unique interpretation of London’s buzzing Mayfair.”

Other recent works of Campaign include a pop-up store for Dr.Martens and an ongoing collaboration with Christopher Bailey, Creative Director of Burberry.

Filson Autumn/Winter 2010 [Bread & Butter]

Filson Autumn/Winter 2010 [Bread & Butter]

This year’s Bread & Butter in Berlin had plenty of great collections on display but none greater than that of American-grown Filson. Their Fall/Winter 2010 collection brings us everything we’ve come to expect from the label — well-crafted and durable clothing and accessories. Our eyes are already focused on the luggage, especially the maroon wool duffel with leather details. Is it so awful that this winter has yet to pass and we’re already focused on the next?

Autumn/Winter 2010: Sjaak Hullekes

Sjaak Hullekes Fall 2010

Sjaak Hullekes calls his Fall collection “Small Town Boy,” but his success from seasons past shows the designer’s maturity and experience. “Hullekes approached fall’s range with a great tenderness. Drawing colors from the season, muted shades of brown and orange make a significant impact. Graced with well-tailored suiting separates, a narrow silhouette works well with cropped jackets and luscious knits.”
