Velour Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook

Velour Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook

Sweden’s Velour dug into its roots to shoot their Fall 2011 lookbook. The lookbook is photographed in what 50 years ago was the actual store. The interior hasn’t been changed a bit since the time it was up and running. As for the offerings, next winter’s lineup features much of what the label does best. You’ll see their chinos in new colors and with a new vintage treatment while their shirting will come in new colorways with much emphasis on the eco-friendly cotton fabric. Chambray, cord and poplin are also being utilized in the shirting while you can also look for woolen jackets as well as a new chino.

There’s definitely much to anticipate beyond this when Velour begins to hit stockists worldwide in the coming months.

Looks for F/W ‘11 from a plethora of brands have hit our inbox as of late but Spellbound’s offerings next winter really stood out from the pack. The Japanese label’s known for its well-crafted denim and there’s no shortage in this collection. The pieces are faded to perfection but that’s something we’ve come to expect from them, amiright?

Photographer Gavin Watson got behind the lens to shoot model Cole Mohr for Farah Vintage‘s Spring 2011 lookbook. The result delivers some exceptional imagery highlighting the iconic British label’s lightweight offerings for the warmer months ahead. The collection takes much influence from 1950s Ivy League prep with plenty of stand out pieces which include slim fit blazers and trousers as well as polos and harrington jackets.

We get a look at Penfield’s Lookbook for their S/S 2011 collection entitled, “A Guide for Everyman”. As always, the brand’s dropping some great outerwear that will work perfectly for warmer months but is sure to protect when duty calls. We’re quite impressed with the shirting as there are a few in the lineup worth checking out. We’re not familiar with Penfield’s fit when it comes to button downs but definitely is something we’d love to explore for you guys.

Norse Projects Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

Norse Projects Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

We’ve been digging Norse Projects’ work for quite sometime now and I’m sure it shows with our numerous posts highlighting their offerings. Their Spring 2011 collection is one of the brand’s largest range to date but they didn’t spare any detail in crafting so many pieces. This season, Norse Projects takes much inspiration from bare-footed beach days in the long and mystical Scandinavian summer light, and as always, our long and rich Nordic history.

The collection is available now at Norse Projects.

Commune de Paris has launched a new site just in time for the spring. The Spring 2011 offerings are available now through the webshop and the lookbook they did for the collection is definitely worth a gander. Some of the standout pieces include their Bag 18 canvas carryall bag as well as their well-crafted knits, which you can toss in as a mid-layer piece to your current rotation or as a pullover in the warmer months ahead.

Left Field NYC Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook

Left Field NYC Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook

Where Brooklyn at? Left Field‘s turned us to their Fall 2011 lookbook and we have to say it was impeccably shot. The setting is an old motorcycle part warehouse in Ohio and the offerings get some really detailed shot that are worth checking out. Highlights from the lineup include the shirting which is made from domestically woven flannel and denim made with fabric from the infamous Kaihara Mills in Japan. All things aside, I want that brooklyn sweatshirt right now. It’s made from an exclusive, American-knit 16 oz. heavy loop terry.

Left Field is doing some great things and that’s quite apparent in their current collection but the Fall 2011 pieces look tremendous as well, something to anticipate.
