Nike Sportswear French Football Federation Lookbook

Nike Sportswear French Football Federation Lookbook

The fine folks at Complex turn us to Nike Sportswear’s French Football Federation look which recently dropped. Before I dig into it and bless y’all with the imagery, know that the offerings are not what most would expect from Nike. Included in the lineup is a great Destroyer Jacket, which if you’re not familiar, is just downright amazing. Beyond that, there’s also an M-65 jacket and plenty of jerseys and footwear to get you through the coming months and beyond.

Kitsune Fall/Winter 2011 ‘Brokeback Mountain’ Collection

Kitsune Fall/Winter 2011 “Brokeback Mountain” Collection

From Parisian label Kitsune comes an exceptionally well-designed collection for Fall 2011 entitled, “Brokeback Mountain”. Though we initially weren’t sure what the folks had in mind when choosing this title, checking out the offerings shows it definitely takes some inspiration from the movie among other things. “The collection itself beyond the inspiration and title could be construed as that of a “refined urban cowboy,” with some definitive workwear pieces you’d find on a ranch in addition to well-tailored pieces suitable for the city.” (via HB)

HUGE | Engineered Garments 2011 Spring/Summer Collection

Though we highlighted the official lookbook for Engineered Garments’ Spring 2011 collection a few weeks back, here’s a fresh batch of looks from Japanese publication HUGE. “What may appear like a fashion faux pas – the scruffy look combined with mixed match patterns – works wonders for Engineered Garment. Drawing attention to the rugged and bearded model that gave the whole look character.” (via WBJ)

Selectism turns us to the Fall 2011 lookbook from J.Lindeberg. We’ve been digging the label’s offerings for quite sometime and their fall collection is no different. “The colour palette references nature in the depth of winter, the dark blue water of the fjords, deep evergreen of the forest and shades of light grey skies are contrasted against the vibrant yellows, reds and acid greens of lichen covered rocks.”

45rpm Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

Another outstanding collection Japan’s 45rpm. From looking at the lookbook, we have to say the Spring 2011 line is looking great as it’s filled with plenty of wearable pieces like a khaki-colored vest and plenty of shirting in lightweight cottons. The suiting stands out as well, most notably the well-cut navy blazer which we’ll be looking to get our hands on in the near future. (via mensmentore)

Investment Bankers | Umin Benan Fall/Winter 2011 Collection

For the past few seasons, Umit Benan has been crafting product we wish would release immediately, rather than six to eight months down the line. The designer’s Fall 2011 collection is no different as it’s filled with some really impeccable suiting and complimentary pieces to boot. And as always, the styling is flawless, folks. The fall line is dubbed, “Investment Bankers,” and we see why as much inspiration is pulled from the 80s and 90s of the industry. Must-have item, you ask? Three-piece plaid suit with double-breasted vest. Whoa.
