Uniqlo +J Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

We’ve gotten our hands on the Uniqlo +J S/S 2011 lookbook and have to say we’re quite impressed with the upcoming collection. “The line gets much more technical than in previous seasons and we especially like the outerwear offering. Of course you also get a nice choice of well cut shirts, knitwear, pants and some accessories.”

The collection releases on January 26th. (via Highs Nobiety)

18 Waits Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

18 Waits is the brainchild of Daniel Torjman, a young, skilled artist that got his schooling at New York’s FIT. The label’s Spring 2011 collection is the first we’ve seen from the Canada-based label though this is their third collection to date. The spring offerings include long- and short-sleeve Henleys constructed in lightweight slub cotton, military shirting made from Japanese fabrics and Billy caps in stripes and solids. This season also brings out the brand’s Scout pant, a slim-fit chino that features a super-soft cornhusk-wash.

18 Waits will be available in select shops and department stores across North America, including Steven Alan Annex on both coasts and Holt Renfrew locations in Canada. They’ll also be at next week’s (capsule) show so we’ll be sure to stop by check out their Fall 2011 collection.

Ben Sherman Modern Classics Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

Ben Sherman Modern Classics Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

We first spotted Ben Sherman’s Modern Classics line at last year’s (capsule) show and we’ve gotten a hold of the brand’s lookbook for the Spring 2011 season. The focus of the Modern Classics collection is deliver strictly timeless staples and from the looks of the final product, they’ve done just that. The attention to detail in this collection is tremendous. From what I remember from a few months back, I believe that denim used for the trousers shown in the last shot (after the jump) is sourced from Japan which goes to show the length the brand’s willing to go to drop top-notch gear.

The Bluffer's Code | nonnative Spring/Summer 2011 Collection

From Japan’s nonnative comes a look at their Spring/Summer 2010 lookbook dubbed, “The Bluffer’s Code”. They’ve chosen to go with an outdoor theme for the spring and it all came together quite nicely. The lineup covers casual and formal attire, though there’s definitely more leisure wear than there is office-proper gear. The outerwear pieces stand out the most as there’s a few lightweight vests as well as hoodies and jackets made from breathable cottons.

Herschel Supply Co. Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

We’ve been fans of Herschel Supply Co. for quite sometime, though they really won me over when I purchased their Novel Duffel a few months ago and never looked back. The company makes some really stand out bags while dropping them at prices that make purchasing one a no-brainer. They’ve dropped their Spring 2011 lookbook which gives us an idea as to what we can expect from the Canadian-based brand. (via hypebeast)

Daiki Suzuki and his team of gifted individuals at Engineered Garments have drop looks for their Spring 2011 collection. The line is filled with workwear-inspired gear, with some pieces being more eccentric than others. There’s a wide range of fabrics and prints in play throughout the collection, including some floral print and polka dots. Look for plenty of lightweight cotton twill and linen utilization and even some microfiber shells on some outerwear pieces.

Riviera Club Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

We’ve caught Riviera Club doing their thing on several fronts in the past few months and we can’t say we were bored one bit. Their fall collection is one of our favorites and we got to check out some of the pieces at this year’s Pop Up Flea in NYC but believe us when we tell you the spring line is just as appealing. The shirting is tremendous as the team decided to play with an array fabrics and colors.

YMC‘s Fall collection definitely has a strong traditional European feel to it as it’s injected with elements of the hunter, the fisher, the mariner, the artisan and the peasant. There are modern variations of the Guernsey, Aaron and Fairisle knits with a welcomed mix fabrics ranging from heavy cords, coated and waxed wools, bonded cotton and herringbone canvas.

Standout pieces include the Edwardian tailored jacket and pocketed fishing jacket as well as the shawl collared pea coat.

By now, you’ve probably heard plenty about H&M‘s collaboration with French fashion house Lanvin. News officially broke just a few days back and we’ve gotten our hands on the lookbook. The suiting and outerwear pieces really steal the show in this lineup. The prices are pretty affordable, as expected, with the most expensive item being a long coat priced at $249. Tees can be picked up for as little as $19.95. I hope the pieces live up to our expectations in person.

The collection releases November 20th at select locations worldwide.
