Band of Outsiders Fall/Winter 2010 Lookbook

Band of Outsiders Fall/Winter 2010 Lookbook

For their Fall 2010 lookbook, Band of Outsiders commissioned Andrew Garfield and took him up to Mt. Baldy, CA for the shoot. The Polaroid camera captures Garfield being his usual self on a sunny California day. As for the looks, well let’s just say there’s no disappointment here. Nylon anoraks with wool lining are placed alongside corduroy loafers while a wool/nylon schoolboy blazer is matched with an oxford shirt and wool flannel loafers.

PF Flyers Spring/Summer 2010 Lookbook

PF Flyers Spring/Summer 2010 Lookbook

Patented in 1933, Posture Foundation insole technology set a new standard in sneaker comfort. It really took off just after a few years and became the basis for the brand name, “PF Flyers”. In the decades following its inception, PF Flyers went on to influence generations, becoming the go-to sneaker for an array of sports and activities. The first ever collaboration between a sneaker company and a pro player, PF and Bob Cousy, led to the company making a string of classic court designs. Those designs were retrieved from the archives, as the famous 1956 Bob Cousy All-American canvas sneaker along with a host of other iconic styles have been reissued to the current generation as part of the “Archival Reissue” collection, which went live a little over a year ago.

The S/S 2010 collection builds on a longstanding reputation and brings to us kicks that are comfortable, affordable, and above all, timeless.

The Windmill Club S/S 2010 [Video]

The Windmill Club S/S 2010 Video Lookbook

The Windmill Club, the brainchild of designer and owner Kevin Burrows, is really making some good headway as of late. This video was shot on the west end of New York’s Fire Island and really captures some great visual moments. When describing the label’s direction for Spring/Summer 2010, here’s what he had to say:

For the SS10 collection we wanted our ties to feature even better quality construction and as always keep our production in the USA. With that in mind we sought out an amazing manufacturer in New York City who has been hand making neckwear for over 70 years. Working with a manufacturer with such a great history and commitment to quality is incredibly exciting and the new ties are a real reflection of that. In addition, our ties this spring are now self tipped which gives them this amazing feeling and heft when tying one of them up.

Look for the official lookbook to drop here soon, but in the meantime, check out the video after the jump.

Burkman Bros. Spring/Summer 2010 Lookbook

Burkman Bros. Spring/Summer 2010 Lookbook

Canadian brothers Ben and Doug Burkman have done well for themselves over the past few years. They’ve coupled their childhood upbringing with solid experience as designers at Gap Inc. to deliver pieces that stand the test of time. Burkman Bros. has released their S/S 2010 lookbook, which is filled with warm-weather accents that want us to ditch the states and fly south to the Caribbeans.

Shirts come in authentic lightweight madras (hand-loomed in southern India), the finest woven yarns or featherweight chambray, and are cut to compliment the body. Throw on the shorts with their butter-soft oxford linings and you’ll never want to take them off. Mind you, the casually sexy fit might have others yanking them off soon enough.
