2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray The NAIAS in Detroit brings the unveiling of Chevrolet’s 2014 Corvette Stingray, the first Corvette to bear the Stingray moniker in over 40 years. Though this new ‘Vette is a looker, all the action is where it should be — under the hood. The Corvette Stingray features a LT1 small-block V8 engine which shells out 450 horsepower and 450-lb. of torque, with a 0-60 mph time under four seconds. So not only is this new Stingray got a ton of power, it’s got a more aggressive and refined design than its predecessor. The interior features aluminum and option carbon fiber detailing and all for a sub-supercar price.
