The Windmill Club Popsicle Club Tie

The Windmill Club Popsicle Club Tie

Introducing the Popsicle club tie from The Windmill Club. Though you normally wouldn’t associate the cold dessert with anything but a hot summer day, this tie is featured in a burgundy finish that’s oh so perfect for the winter months. It’s handcrafted in NYC and measures 2.75 inches at its widest point, and is limited to eight pieces, each produced from dead stock British silk.

New York’s The Windmill Club have dropped images from their Spring/Summer 2012 collection, giving us a much-welcomed look at the tie brand’s offerings for next summer. The pieces are made from 100% dead stock silk and are given the proper attention while being made. All the products are handmade here in New York City with availability being extremely limited, at times to as few as six pieces of each style. The folks behind The Windmill Club also cooked up a video for the S/S 2012 collection so be sure to check that out after the jump. (via the189)

The Windmill Club S/S 2010 Video Lookbook

The Windmill Club, the brainchild of designer and owner Kevin Burrows, is really making some good headway as of late. This video was shot on the west end of New York’s Fire Island and really captures some great visual moments. When describing the label’s direction for Spring/Summer 2010, here’s what he had to say:

For the SS10 collection we wanted our ties to feature even better quality construction and as always keep our production in the USA. With that in mind we sought out an amazing manufacturer in New York City who has been hand making neckwear for over 70 years. Working with a manufacturer with such a great history and commitment to quality is incredibly exciting and the new ties are a real reflection of that. In addition, our ties this spring are now self tipped which gives them this amazing feeling and heft when tying one of them up.

Look for the official lookbook to drop here soon, but in the meantime, check out the video after the jump.
