Acquire has informed us of Victorinox’s recent plan to reproduce founder Karl Elsener’s famous Soldier’s Knife. In light of its 125th birthday, the company’s digging down to its foundation, the present-day Swiss Army Knife. “They’re releasing a replica of the original Soldier’s knife complete with wooden handle, knife blade, screwdriver, can opener, and punch.”
