Well, looks like there’s a new kid on the block. Mercedes-Benz has taken the covers off the 2012 C63 AMG Coupe. The two-door is as powerful as its sedan counterpart but features a sleeker body will definitely compete well with the BMW M3 as well as the CTS-V Coupe. It’s powered by a 6.3L V8 engine making 451-hp with a maximum torque of 443 lb-ft. Mated standard to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe will run from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph.
Not enough? Consider Mercedes-Benz’s AMG Development Package to deliver an astounding 481 horses. Enhanced performance peaks with 0 to 60 mph acceleration to 4.3 seconds and a top speed increased to 174 mph. The C63 AMG Coupe hits showrooms in September, so expect pricing and further details in the coming months. (via egmCarTech)
This is hot. But….have you seen the 2012 Audi A7? It is absolutely fierce! The local dealer here in Atlanta said he’s only able to get 4 when they come in. If I could be so lucky.
