Porsche has unveiled the 2012 Cayman S Black Edition, becoming the third Black Edition in the carmaker’s stable. A 10-hp boost gives it a total of 330 horses and can now be mated with an optional PDK transmission. 0 to 60 time is clocked in at 4.6 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono Package as it reaches a top speed of 172 mph.
Aesthetically, the Cayman S Black Edition packs lots of standard features and will only come in solid black with monochrome treatment and a black body and black-painted 19-inch Boxster Spyder design wheels. The interior comes only in black as well with hints of aluminum and stainless steel.
The standard Convenience Package adds Bi-Xenon headlights with cornering function, auto-dimming interior and exterior mirrors, rain sensor and auto climate control. The infotainment Package features a touch-screen Porsche Communication Management system with navigation, BOSE surround-sound system and XM Satellite Radio with XM NavTraffic.
The 2012 Porsche Cayman S Black Edition starts at $67,500.
Don’t you think it’s bit costlier than other Porsche styles? Anyway it’s an experimental car i can say as it is released in only black color. I saw many people going mad of this vehicle.
