Ahead of the 2013 Detroit Auto Show comes a look at the facelifted 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe. The refreshed front end now features single-piece headlights and a more aggressive fascia. The quad-headlight look isn’t completely lost as there are unique LED running lights that visually split the headlights into two. New LED taillights and a reshaped rear fascia are tossed into the exterior enhancements. The interior’s got minor changes such as a slight redesign of the steering wheel and incorporating Direct Select lever instead of the console-mounted shift lever from the previous years. Tech upgrades include the Stereo Multi-Purpose Camera, Active Parking Assist and a 360-degree camera for a bird’s-eye view when parking.

The coupe and cabriolet models will carry over their powertrains and model designations from 2013, which include the E350 and E550, with the E350 Coupe still having the option of a 4Matic all-wheel-drive system. The 2014 sedan will get a four-cylinder engine, an AMG model and even a new hybrid model. Look for the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class lineup to hit showrooms this summer.
