Amsterdam-based Filling Pieces Fall/Winter 2014 collection introduces their latest lookbook, honing in on minimalist features for street and high-end footwear. The seasonal collection is titled “Less Is More” as a nod to stark details like the embossment of leather and use of floral fabrics from Liberty London. New fabrics, such as the TSA woven, cotton wire woven patterns, Scottish grain leather, and marbleized rubber margom cup soles in grey or camouflage, emphasize the models in a highly aesthetic context. The brand focuses on signature silhouettes especially on the Era Low model, a ’70s-inspired skate shoe produced with more sophisticated features. Beginning next week, Filling Pieces will grant purchase of the Fall/Winter 2014 collection in select stores and Filling Pieces’ online store.
