Founded in 1830, Woolrich John Rich & Bros. is celebrating 185 years and with it comes a Fall/Winter 2015 collection that’s got a ton of iconic pieces mixed with contemporary updates. The lineup focuses on three themes — Authentic, Teton and Contemporary — each giving us some really distinct items for the warmer months ahead. The “Authentic Collection” features original American wools from the Woolrich woollen mill in Pennsylvania with highlights including the Railroad Vest and Hunting Jacket. You’ll also see the Arctic Parka is lined with these classic fabrics. The Teton line focuses on durability, performance and protection from the elements, giving us lightweight shells and high-quality coyote-fur trim. The Teton Rudder Parka is a winner with its ergonomic fit, curved-shape sleeves, a higher-set collar for added protection, slash pockets and refined, contrasting gold-zippers. The contemporary pieces are not to be ignored as they’re a blend of light-weight fabrics and high-performance materials to deliver some everyday wear must-haves. Beyond the “Comfort Chic” felted-wool blazers and fleece chinos, there’s also a new “made in Italy” knitwear range, which has more than fifty styles of cashmere and wool pieces.
