Donald Glover (a.k.a. Childish Gambino) has been doing a lot more time as a rapper than an actor since his days on Community came to a close. While he’s had a few stints here and there, appearing in Magic Mike 2 and The Martian, it’s Glover’s music career that has really skyrocketed. His return to TV comes in the form of Atlanta, a new comedy series about rappers in Atlanta on FX that he created and stars in. The show follows the life of Earnest Marks, a guy who returns to Atlanta when his dreams of becoming a big artist don’t pan out, only to discover that his cousin has become the hottest new rapper in Atlanta. The series is set to premiere later this year on FX.
