After a patient search for the perfect retail location, Swedish fashion house Acne Studios has found a new home in Milan’s Brera District. Creative director Johnny Johansson hunted for nearly five years before finally landing on Piazza del Carmine, a unique outpost that speaks to the brand’s individuality and contemporary aesthetic. The building features high arched windows across the entire storefront while still matching the overall design direction of surrounding fixtures. Step inside and you’re met with a pink ceiling and plenty of shelving and rails lining the walls. Granite stools divide the room in half and are the perfect addition to the minimal space. All eyes are on the pieces as well as the decor as bright floodlights hang from the store’s pink ceiling.
