Land Rover Defender Wears Commemorative Color for 75th Birthday

Land Rover releases a Limited Edition Grasmere Green Defender to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the debut of the original, the Series I, at the 1948 edition of the Amsterdam auto show. 

The 2023 Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition in Grasmere Green is available in both the 90 and 110 lengths, showcasing the paint color on the body and 20-inch wheels. The vehicles are presented with edition-specific emblems and Ceres Silver accents on the bumpers. 

Its interiors are also drenched in Grasmere Green, with Resist Ebony upholstery on the seats and Robustec on the center console. 

The Defender 75th Limited Edition is given the standard surround-view camera, Meridian sound system, Terrain Response technology, head-up display, wireless device charger, and an 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system touchscreen.

It is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six with a 48-volt electric supercharger to develop 395 HP and 406 lb-ft of torque. It sports an eight-speed automatic transmission.

In addition to the 75th Limited Edition, the manufacturer will also release a 110-based model called 30th Anniversary Edition for the Defender’s US debut anniversary.
