Rains Texel Travel Bag Collection is a Minimalist’s Dream for the Outdoors

Rains, the outerwear lifestyle brand, just unveiled a brand-new collection of travel bags. The collection features eight ready-to-travel Texel bags that includes duffels, backpacks, crossbody models, and more that are engineered for travel.

The bags, constructed from Rains’ signature waterproof PU fabric, have a minimalist style and pairable compatibility and come in forest green, black, and ash colorways.

The Texel Tech Bag, retailing for $170, features various zips, front utility pockets, a large zip pocket for small tablets and notebooks, a main compartment that holds a padded laptop sleeve for 15” devices, zip and mesh pockets, a back-mounted trolley sleeve with a zip pocket, webbing carry handles, and a detachable shoulder strap.

The Texel Tote Backpack, retailing for $170, is a short-travel hybrid utility bag that doubles as a functional tote, and backpack via integrated padded backstraps. It has two front utility pockets, a main compartment with mesh and zip pockets, a padded laptop sleeve for 15” devices, a back-mounted trolley sleeve with a zip pocket, webbing carry handles, and side compression straps.

The Texel Wash Bag, coming in at $95, is a highly functional bag in a small form factor intended for bathroom essentials. It has a zipped bi-fold cover with two zip pockets and a fold-out hanger, a main compartment with two slip pockets and an elastic storage band for small travel bottles, and a padded carry handle.

The Texel Check-in Bag, retailing for $325, is a travel-ready trolley bag in check-in dimensions, while the Texel Cabin Bag, going for $250, is a travel-ready trolley bag in carry-on dimensions. Both feature a half-silhouette hard shell, side-mounted adjustable straps, a bifold case with two main compartments, one including elastic crossbands and both with mesh closures, a telescopic handle, top and side carry handles, and a front zipper pocket.

Finally, the Texel Cabin Trolley, retailing for $430, is a polycarbonate 4-wheel suitcase with carry-on dimensions. It features a bi-fold design with two compartments, a large front pocket, a full-silhouette zip, a TSA-approved integrated lock, a front webbing compression strap, a telescopic handle, and four multi-directional wheels.
