Saint Laurent x Girard-Perregaux Casquette 2.0 is a Limited-Edition Retro Modern Timepiece

Girard-Perregaux and Saint Laurent Rive Droite debut their collaborative project, a new interpretation of the iconic Casquette watch first seen in 1976 called the Girard-Perregaux Casquette 2.0. Limited to only 100 pieces, the timepiece is as unique as its predecessor.

In the 1970s, the original Casquette used new technologies, new materials, and a new design. The reinterpretation by Saint Laurent Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello for the Saint Laurent Rive Droite line displays hours, minutes, seconds, the day and the date, the month, the year, a chronograph, a second time zone, and a secret date. It features a black ceramic and black PVD-treated grade 5 titanium construction, a tubular LED display dial, a Saint Laurent signature on the caseback, ceramic with a rubber interior strap, and water resistance of 50 meters.

The Saint Laurent x Girard-Perregaux Casquette 2.0 runs on the Caliber GP3980-1474, which beats at a frequency of 32,768 Hz.

Limited to only 100 production pieces, the Saint Laurent x Girard-Perregaux Casquette 2.0 will retail for $6,700, and will be available exclusively at Saint Laurent Rive Droite stores in Paris and Los Angeles, as well as online via the official Saint Laurent Rive Droite store, in selected countries only.
