Both sky blue themed Grand Seiko Sport Collection Caliber 9S 25th Anniversary Limited Edition, reference SBGJ275, and the Grand Seiko Elegance Collection Caliber 9S 25th Anniversary Limited Edition, reference SBGM253, celebrate 25 years of the Caliber 9S mechanical movement.
The 44.2mm Grand Seiko Sport Collection Caliber 9S 25th Anniversary Limited Edition features a stainless steel case, dual-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, rotating sapphire bezel in blue and white, blue dial showing a sea of clouds at daybreak, a crystal screw case back, and water resistance up to 200m. The timepiece comes with a 3-link stainless steel bracelet three-fold clasp with a push-button release.
Powering the Grand Seiko Sport Collection Caliber 9S 25th Anniversary Limited Edition is the in-house automatic Caliber 9S86 with 37 jewels, GMT hand, and a 55-hour power reserve. The Grand Seiko Sport Collection Caliber 9S 25th Anniversary Limited Edition will be released in September and will be limited to only 2,000 examples, with a retail price of $7,600.
The 39.5mm Grand Seiko Elegance Collection Caliber 9S 25th Anniversary Limited Edition timepiece features a stainless steel case, box-shaped sapphire crystal with Anti-reflective coating on the inner surface, Zaratsu polished bezel, sunray-brushed light blue color dial, and water resistance of up to 30m. It comes with a stainless steel bracelet with a three-fold clasp with a push-button release.
Powering the Grand Seiko Sport Collection Caliber 9S 25th Anniversary Limited Edition is the automatic in-house Caliber 9S66 movement, 4Hz frequency, Flyer GMT complication, 35 jewels, and a 72-hour power reserve. On the other hand, the Grand Seiko Elegance Collection Caliber 9S 25th Anniversary Limited Edition will be limited to only 1,700 examples and is scheduled to drop in October for $5,600.
