LEGO has just revealed its latest addition to the Icons vehicle collection: the Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole. This set pays tribute to one of history’s iconic supercars, known for its striking design, performance, and craftsmanship. This new LEGO model is a collector’s item and a faithful representation of an automotive legend.
The Lamborghini Countach was produced from 1974 to 1990 and quickly became a symbol of speed and style. The LEGO Icons version of the Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole, designed by Sven Franic, captures the essence of this legendary vehicle. This model is a step up from the Speed Champions series, offering a larger and more detailed replica with over 1,500 pieces.
The LEGO Icons Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole has features that mirror the real supercar. The model is 13 inches long, 6.5 inches wide, and 3.5 inches high and boasts a detailed cockpit, working steering, and the iconic scissor doors that open upwards. The model also includes an opening trunk and rear hood, revealing a meticulously crafted V12 engine.
Other highlights are the deep-dish rims, large tail lights, and a sleek rear spoiler, all adding to the set’s appeal as a collector’s item. The set also introduces three new molds and several recolored elements. These new parts include a slope, corner pieces, and a new wheel design.
The LEGO Icons Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole set will be released on July 1st for LEGO Insiders and on July 4th for general release. It will be available on LEGO’s official site for $180 USD.
