Snowfall in Sheridan | Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II Feels At Home In Wyoming’s Western Beauty

Words and photos by Atif Kazmi for Por Homme

In the heart of Wyoming, Sheridan is home to the enduring spirit of the American West. Each season brings its own set of activities and this winter, we got to visit the beautiful, rugged city to experience it for ourselves. The region’s snow-covered landscape played as the perfect backdrop for the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II. Along with its Black Badge variant, the British SUV found itself at home, blending wondrous luxury with the town’s rugged charm.

The Cullinan Evolves with Series II and Its Black Badge

Hard to believe it’s already been seven years since the original Rolls-Royce Cullinan was introduced. Looking back, it immediately set the benchmark by which all other ultra-luxury SUVs should be measured. The Cullinan is refined, effortless and surpassed all dreams for what a Rolls-Royce SUV could and should be. The Cullinan Series II picks things right up, building upon the Cullinan’s tremendous success with subtle yet welcomed enhancements. Highlights include redesigned daytime running lights and an illuminated Pantheon grille, giving way to a refreshed front fascia that maintains the Cullinan’s commanding presence. Step inside and you’re met an immense level of detail, including bespoke placed perforation on the leather seats which create intricate patterns with up to 107,000 tiny perforations. Additionally, owners can opt for Duality Twill, a material made from bamboo fibers. The tremendous amount of leather found throughout a Rolls-Royce cabin and the richness of that leather has defined the brands. My belief is that won’t be changing for the overwhelming majority of customers.

The Black Badge Cullinan gives us everything we love about the Cullinan Series II while exuding a more sinister personality. The infusion of darker, more performance-oriented aesthetic details are prominent yet tasteful. With blacked-out chrome elements, carbon fiber accents, and enhancements to the 6.75-liter V12 engine, the Black Badge Cullinan is blending luxury and dynamism.

The Pinnacle of Bespoke Customization

A new generation of the Cullinan brings with it new customization options, and it’s going well past what was previously possible. The advanced SPIRIT operating system allows for digital customization to ambient lighting, enabling instrument dials to harmonize with the chosen interior or exterior palette. If you thought the Starlight Headliner was magnificent before, clients can now replicate real constellations within it. Custom paint colors inspired by personal inspirations can adorn the exterior of your Cullinan Series II. Rolls-Royce continues to champion individuality, ensuring that each Cullinan Series II is a unique reflection of its owner’s tastes.

And of course, some clients may even be invited to a Rolls-Royce Private Office to go through the bespoke experience with as much depth as possible.

More To Sheridan Than Meets The Eye

Sheridan is a city with a pulse and one that looks to evolve and redevelop while staying true to its rich heritage. For Rolls-Royce customers from other regions of the country, it’s striking quite the balance. The airport’s small, making it perfect for quick entry and exit. Restaurants, bars, and hotels are keeping folks engaged while there’s plenty to do as venture out just a little. For those looking to peel back the region’s layers, a visit to The Brinton Museum is a must. Located on the historic Quarter Circle A Ranch, the museum showcases an extensive collection of 19th, 20th, and 21st-century Western and American Indian art, featuring works by renowned artists such as Frederic Remington and Charles M. Russell. The 24,000-square-foot Forrest E. Mars, Jr. building, with its eco-conscious design, houses these collections, offering visitors a blend of art, history, and architecture amidst the winter landscape.

Journeying Through Sheridan’s Winter Terrain

With heavy snowfall, a slew of Cullinans, including some in Black Badge form, made their way to The Brinton Museum. Each shielded passengers from the elements while underpinnings helped to showcase the “Magic Carpet” ride in even the most challenging of terrains. There’s something to be said about a ultra-luxury SUV gliding through a beautiful landscape while snowflakes fill its visibility. Sign us up for the warmth and comfort of a well-crafted Cullinan Series II cabin any day of the week.

Much like Sheridan, there’s more to the Cullinan Series II than meets the eye. Every detail comes with depth and Rolls-Royce clients will find new layers to explore as they go engage in the bespoke customization process.
