Rolex introduces the Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller, a bold reinterpretation of timepieces with integrated bracelets. Available in 36 mm and 40 mm, this new model delivers superlative performance with 32 patent applications and patents.
The Land-Dweller debuts the all-new Flat Jubilee bracelet, inspired by the iconic 1945 emblematic Jubilee bracelet. It retains its five-piece link structure with flat, polished center links flanked by satin-finished outer links. The bracelet has a concealed folding Crownclasp, maintaining its refined aesthetic.
The bracelet merges effortlessly with the restyled Oyster case. The result is a striking interplay of polished and satin finishes that enhance its distinctive profile. Beveled edges on the bracelet and case create a continuous ribbon of light. In contrast, the case features a fluted or diamond-set bezel and an intricate dial with a honeycomb motif. The restyled Oyster case also includes a modified waterproofing system, which guarantees waterproofing to a depth of 100 meters (330 feet).
The Land-dweller’s dial showcases exclusive display elements including the open 6 and 9 numerals, inspired by the Explorer and Air-King models. The hour markers extend their luminescence throughout their length, which was made possible by a newly developed substance that delivers the same luminescent performance, color of glow, and hue in daylight.
The Caliber 7135 powers the watch, which operates at 5 Hz and displays the date, hours, minutes, and seconds. It ensures remarkable precision despite its slim profile, incorporating the Dynapulse escapement and a state-of-the-art oscillator.
The Land-Dweller 40 is available in two variants. The first is a white Rolesor which features a Oystersteel case and a white gold fluted bezel and a white dial with a honeycomb motif. The second version comes in platinum and features a fluted bezel and an ice-blue dial with a honeycomb motif. The Land-Dweller 36 is made of 18ct Everose gold and features a dial with ten baguette-cut diamond hour markers and a bezel set with 44 trapeze-cut diamonds.
Each Land-Dweller meets Rolex’s Superlative Chronometer standards, surpassing COSC certification with a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day. This distinction is symbolized by the green seal and is coupled with an international five-year guarantee.
